Since the beginning with founder Cy Mulder 75 years ago, ODL has built a culture around these three words.
Solid. Building a solid company starts with a strong workforce, and ODL has always had a policy of inclusion which has resulted in a broad and diverse group of dedicated employees. Solid also means having quality practices and products that we have stood behind for more than seven decades.
Soft. Despite being a growing business, ODL hasn’t lost the soft edges we started with. We care deeply about our employees, families, and communities. Community involvement has always been a core concept since Cy Mulder was president, and former president Larry Mulder and current president Jeff Mulder have kept the tradition going strong.
Risky. ODL knows from experience that you can’t be an industry-leading company without being willing to take risks. From making the switch from wood to injection-molded frames in the 70s to our current mold-breaking approaches to industry norms, ODL is willing to take the risks necessary to grow and produce better products for consumers.
